The event is a popular attraction on the cycling calendar incorporating the Hill Climb, Criterium and B2B (Bathurst to Bathurst) 100km road race.
This year's Bathurst Cycling Classic sees the introduction of the ultimate challenge, The Bathurst Tour, a three-day competition encompassing all three events. Hill Climb, Criterium Racing and 100km road race on fully closed roads where entrants will accrue points and win cash prizes relevant to their result. At the completion of the 100km ride the male and female Tour Champions will be crowned.
Bathurst is a vibrant regional city offering our visitors the best of country life with all the conveniences and facilities of modern living. The city is one of the most beautiful in the region with a diversity of attractions, activities, and services.

The 2021 Bathurst Cycling Classic is a COVID-safe event. Organisers are committed to the safety and wellbeing of participants, spectators, volunteers and event workforce and will implement COVID-safe measures across the three days of Bathurst Cycling Classic.
COVID-safe guidelines for participants and attendees:
q Check in at every event using the Service NSW app or on the Service NSW webform.
q Please maintain physical distancing of 1.5m at all times.
q Do not attend the event if feeling unwell or experiencing flu like symptoms.
q Do not attend the event if you have visited a hot spot in the last 14 days.
q Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the event, please ensure you sanitise often.
q We encourage all riders to bring a drink bottle to refill at designated water stations. Do not share water bottles.
q Bathurst Cycling Classic will have multiple wave starts to ensure there is no congestion during marshalling.
q Additional cleaning of amenities will occur throughout the event.
q Contact tracing and record keeping will take place.

The Hill Climb brought to you by Renshaw’s Pedal Project will take place on Friday 12 March 2021 at Mount Panorama, Bathurst. The 3.2km course will start on Pit Straight and finish atop the famous racetrack Brock Skyline (Castrol Tower).
Start times for the Hill Climb are individual and will be released on the week leading into the event.
Warm up will commence at 2pm and the first rider will start at 3pm. All riders will start approximately 30 seconds apart in reverse seed order in order of divisions as approximately follows:

B2B COURSE MAP Challenge yourself on this undulating course designed by Mark Renshaw. The B2B will start in the Bathurst CBD, feature a lap of Mount Panorama before continuing to Gormans Hill Road and out to Rockley, via Lagoon. Cyclists will then cross to Trunkey Creek Road and return to town via Georges Plains and Perthville and back into the Bathurst CBD.
