The decision to close school, to start late or to dismiss early is difficult due to weather conditions that can vary considerably within the school district. For this reason, your cooperation and understanding are appreciated. A two-hour late start announcement may be made the evening before or the morning of school if the forecast is for inclement weather. This is done to gain additional time to make a decision based on actual conditions. When a late start is announced, please continue to listen for future announcements. Should it become necessary to close during the school day, stations will be notified as soon as the decision is made so you know when to expect your child/children home.
