Lackagh Old Cemetery: Again, people are asked to bring black plastic bags when cleaning the graves and to take all the rubbish and vegetation away with them. A lot of work went into cleaning up neglected graves in the past week for the Cemetery Mass, but, people who came to clean up graves left the rubbish after them in the graveyard. There is NO skip facility now and this rubbish had to be cleared away. People are asked to have respect for the final resting place of our dead and keep the sacred resting place clean and litter free. Also, Monumental Sculptors and gravediggers must remove all rubble on completion of work, as mentioned earlier the skip facility is no longer available in the graveyard. In order to keep the graveyard at its best everyone is asked to co- operate and keep the graveyard neat and tidy. Thank you for your co-operation.
