A letter informing on the preparation of the directory and requesting the information on essential oil enterprises was circulated via email to the concerned stakeholders, including the district chambers of associations, and entrepreneurs. Essential oils are chemical compounds having odoriferous nature, highly volatile, insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents and obtained by the steam distillation process.
