Day 2 through Day 6: Chester, England Friday August 1 ~ Wednesday August 6

Chester is among the most beautiful and “must-see” cities in the country of England. Upon arrival, you will appreciate the city’s unique atmosphere and sense of history. Founded by Romans over 2000 years ago, much of the Roman influence remains. The Chester City Walls are the most complete in Britain, surrounding the city in a two mile loop, originally built to offer protection from outside forces.

Another stop on the trip includes a tour of Old Trafford, home to the English team Manchester United. The tour includes one of a kind opportunities such as touring home and away locker rooms, walking the players’ tunnel to the pitch, viewing the media room and even sitting in ’ private seat on the Manchester United bench.

Players will also have the unique opportunity to train with the coaching staff from the Bolton Wanderers FC or Liverpool FC. These behind the scenes training sessions will show you exactly how the professional teams train their youth players in England. Very few players around the world get the opportunity to train with the coaches who produce some of the best players in the world.

It is also famous for its ubiquitous pubs and vibrant nightlife.

The soccer in Dublin is absolutely first class. You will have the opportunity to play against some of the top youth professional academy players. Players such as Roy and , John O’Shea, , Damian Duff and were all products of these training academies.

Pat, the best part of the trip was the opportunity it gave me to get to know my son without the typical everyday distractions. Although I missed the rest of my family, I loved every minute simply being with him, watching him play and interact with others. In my opinion, that is a huge selling point and it is the message that I am conveying to parents. Don’t get me wrong, it is a soccer trip and I won’t soon forget that I was with Nate when he played Crystal Palace and was on the field with Jack Haywood. -PARENT ON 2013 TOUR

Not only was this experience rewarding at so many levels, I feel there could not have been a better way to bond with my child and enrich our relationship. Words can not explain the wonderful and indelible memories that were created that I know will last a lifetime both on the pitch and off as well. The tour exceeded my expectations by a landslide. I personally felt like a kid again with the opportunity to visit the many stadiums throughout England, and watch a couple of matches. I also love the fact that my daughter’s self confidence in terms of her performance and ability on the field has soared to a new level!!!!

The things I enjoyed the most about the tour were: 1. The smile on my daughter’s face and the improvement in her performance among kids who had exceptional talent. 2. The new friendships my daughter established as well as my getting to know other parents, legends coaching staff, superclub staff, etc. 3. England!!!!! Need I say more? 4. It was the perfect balance of Soccer and Sight-Seeing for us. 5. I could list 25 other things but have many patients to see….

I was shocked at the sheer of details that Pat, Sheila, Jamie, Heidi, Kyle….etc, etc had to manage and deal with. I personally wanted to take a sedative watching the many balls in the air and was so impressed if not amazed at how they professionally, and carefully dealt with each person’s issues the best they could and truly made an effort to problem solve when issues arose, even if, in my opinion, it was not an issue they needed to care about. It was an incredible experience. The drivers from Wales Tours were also wonderful and I always felt safe with them. -REFERENCE FROM PARENT ON 2013 TOUR
