Thanks for paticipating! > To help everyone to answer your question you really ought to say why you liked "Akatsuki no Yono". My all time favourite anime series is "Urusei Yatsura". It's a classic rom-com that is sidesplittingly funny and has a grand cast of characters. Dave Baranyi --- Synchronet 3.13a-Win32 NewsLink 1.83 Subject: Re: What's your Favorite Anime of all time?!? I like the animation style of "akatsuki no yona" also it has enough fighting to keep me Page 1 of 4 ---- Generated from Megalextoria entertained along with a romance where the guy is in love with the girl and she is completely oblivious to it. Also it appears to be a harem starrin a girl I believe. I'm only a few episodes in. I'm not going to lie, I do like a lot of mainstream anime. I like Naruto (although it went downhill a bit) and I loved Fate/Zero, Full Metal Alchemist, and Attack on Titan --- Synchronet 3.13a-Win32 NewsLink 1.83 Subject: Re: What's your Favorite Anime of all time?!? For series I guess my favorites (depending on my mood) are Aria (any of its seasons) and Natsume Yuujincho (any of its seasons). I guess they are slice of life shows, though both do have a continuing plot. I'm sure if you ask me tomorrow I'm very likely to give different answers. As for movies it's either Nausicaa or Princess Mononoke. Don --- Synchronet 3.13a-Win32 NewsLink 1.83 Subject: Re: What's your Favorite Anime of all time?!? Btw, the voice actress of Mikasa Ackerman in "Attack on Titan" is the same as the one of the main female character in "Heroic Age" Princess Dianela. --- Synchronet 3.13a-Win32 NewsLink 1.83 Subject: Re: What's your Favorite Anime of all time?!? So let's try this - a list of anime I liked, bought, and still have after several thinnings of the shelves" ..hack//sign Ai Yori Aoshi Oh My Goddess (the original OAV series) Ah My Goddess the Movie Betterman Cowboy Bebop the Movie DearS Dual FLCL Fruits Basket Hand Maid May Hanaukyo Maid Team La Verite If I See You In My Dreams Mars Daybreak Paprika PlanetES Please Teacher Please Twins Rahxephon Roujin Z Silent Mobius Spirited Away Summer Wars Tenchi Muyo series and movies Page 3 of 4 ---- Generated from Megalextoria Urusei Yatsura Beautiful Dreamer Van Dread The World Of Narue I've seen parts of the Aria series (but haven't bought them yet - on the list). I have all the English manga (both versions) for it, waiting for the series to be continued and hopefully concluded. I think I have at least twice as many series in the manga collection as I do the anime. In cases like Fruits Basket and His and Her Circumstances (Kare Kano), I prefer the manga because the entire story does not get told in the anime and those are good ones. --- Synchronet 3.13a-Win32 NewsLink 1.83 Subject: Re: What's your Favorite Anime of all time?!? Gall Force (the original movie, the sequels are pretty gratuitous). And it's strange because the premise is an infamous science fiction cliche. But the execution brought tears to my eyes. --- Synchronet 3.13a-Win32 NewsLink 1.83 Page 4 of 4 ---- Generated from Megalextoria.
