David Slattery shows us which particularities and idiosyncrasies that differentiate the Irish from our neighbours.

With expertise and a lot of humour, Slattery takes us through the rules of the Irish.

Who will be invited to an Irish funeral, and if so, why? Why is there always at least 200 people invited to every wed- ding? What are the main rules when visiting an Irish pub?

The German translation (by Dr. Gabriele Haefs) of "How to be Irish" is now available from btb publishers in hardback.
