While in her twenties and living in Marin County, CA, Genie Babcock took a private Script Supervision seminar and quickly booked an independent Feature shooting in Berkeley. Shortly after, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue work in the entertainment industry. She was hooked and has now worked over twenty years as Script Supervisor in Features and Television. Genie graduated with a B.A in Communications and studied screenwriting, drama and journalism along the way. She directed short films and quickly developed a passion for storytelling. She knew she had the skills and stamina to be a successful Script Supervisor. Genie enjoys being an intricate part of the creative process and working closely with the Director, Editor and Talent. She loves that collaboration and excessive attention to detail. Genie swears by ScriptE, the digital software which she finds clear, concise and creates thorough documents. Genie is Los Angeles based and happy to travel for work.
