Seems that Friday night before Carolyn’s PWF gig she had finished her show at the Zoo Bar and was trying to leave but the Police were somehow blocking the alley exit. What does Carolyn do? She pulls off some acoustic set in the alley until 3 in the morning. I was not there (dammit) but I’m told tears were shed during that performance… Here is an exurb from Josh Hoyer’s Face book page that sums Carolyn Wonderland up perfectly! If the spirit of American music had one chance, one voice, to cry out for it’s dignity, I would fight for Carolyn Wonderland to be that voice.
