First record of Tricyphona (Tricyphona) contraria Bergroth, 1888 (Diptera: Pediciidae) from the Iberian Peninsula and other inter- esting records of Tipuloidea from caves of Catalonia (Spain) Tricyphona (Tricyphona) contraria Bergroth, 1888 is registered for the first time in the Iberian Peninsula, as a result of a biospeleologi- cal survey conducted in a cave of the emblematic Montserrat massif located a few kilometers from Barcelona city. Also, we offer a new distribution data for Rhypholophus haemorrhoidalis (Zetterstedt, 1838), Elliptera hungarica Madarassy, 1881, Dicranota (Paradicranota) subtilis Loew, 1871, Tipula (Lunatipula) albostriata Strobl, 1909 and y T. (Mediotipula) cataloniensis Theowald, 1978. This is as a result of a partial revision of the Tipuloidea collection housed in the Museum of Natural Sciences of Barcelona, especially of those specimens col- lected in cave environments, which represents the confirmation of these species in Spain. Key words: Diptera, Tipulidae, Limoniidae, troglofauna, cave dwellers, biospeleology, Iberian Peninsula.
