BRONCOS SET TOUCHDOWN MARK
With a 1‐yard touchdown pass from QB Peyton Manning to WR Wes Welker in the first quarter, Denver became the first team in NFL history with four players scoring at least 10 touchdowns in a season. Welker’s touchdown, which was his 10th of the season to set a careeer high, also gave Denver three players with 10 receiving scores. The only other team to accomplish that feat was the 2004 Indianapolis Colts, led by Manning, who earned the second of his four careeer MVP awards that season.
