Supported MATLAB and Compiler Versions
> For using the Vector CANape/vSignalyzer Target the Simulink Coder (formerly Real-Time Workshop®) is required. > For Microsoft Visual C++ compilers please use the "Vector CANape/vSignalyzer Target (Visual C/C++ Project Makefile)" system target file (cnp.tlc). > For MinGw64 compilers please use the "Vector CANape/vSignalyzer Target (MinGW x64 C/C++ Makefile)" system target file. (cnp_mingw64.tlc)
Legend: = supported - = not supported 1) = Matlab R2015b and older versions are not supported. 2) = MinGW-w64 C/C++ 5.3 is available at no charge. Supported for 64-bit MATLAB versions. For MATLAB R2016a, R2016b and R2017a it is recommended to download and install the MinGW compiler (version 5.3) manually. After a successful installation the 'MW_MINGW64_LOC' environment variable must be set to the installation path of the MinGW compiler. This can be done manually or automatically via the user-defined startup script for MATLAB by calling the following 'setenv' command: For example: % set the MW_MINGW64_LOC environment variable to D:\Tools\MinGW_5.3\TDM-GCC-64 setenv('MW_MINGW64_LOC', 'D:\Tools\MinGW_5.3\TDM-GCC-64');
Remark: The MinGW-w64 C/C++ 4.9.2 does not work and cannot be used for building MATLAB/Simulink DLLs for Vector CANape/vSignalyzer.
3) = MinGW-w64 C/C++ 5.3/6.3 is available at no charge via MATLAB Add-On Explorer. For MATLAB R2017b and newer versions it is recommended to install the MinGW compiler (version 5.3 or 6.3) with the MATLAB Add-On Explorer. If the MATLAB Add-On Explorer is not able to download the third party software, please enter your proxy settings: Home | Preferences | MATLAB | Web.
