The Iowa Wild went 1-2-0 in three games last week. The Wild dropped its IOWA WILD WEEK AHEAD first contest of the week, 8-3 vs. Charlotte on Friday at Wells Fargo Arena DATE OPPONENT LOCATION* TIME (10/21). G Steve Michalek started the game, al- lowing three goals on three shots in 6:35 of action while G Alex Stalock earned the loss with 23 saves made in relief. Iowa earned a 2-1 win in its second contest of the week on Saturday against Charlotte in Des Moines (10/22). F Grayson Downing and Gilmour each recorded a and Stalock registered the win, stopping 35-of-36 shots. The Wild fell in its third contest, 7-3 vs. Cleveland on Tuesday in Iowa (10/25). F Jordan Schroeder led the team with three points (1-2=3). Forwards Tyler Graovac and Pat Cannone each netted a goal. Stalock recorded the loss, allowing five goals on 22 shots in 23:18 TOI before Michalek made 20 saves in 36:14 of relief. D Zach Palmquist leads the Wild with four points (1-3=4) in six games this season and ranks T-6th amongst AHL defensemen in scoring and T-7th in assists. Stalock is 1-4-0 with a 4.28 GAA and a .871 SV% in five games. Michalek is 1-0-0 with a 3.34 GAA and a .900 SV% in three games. Iowa finishes its seven-game homestand, hosting Milwaukee on Friday (10/28) before traveling for its first road game of the season against the Admirals on Saturday (10/29).
