We have 5 senior men's teams at home on Saturday so we are looking Apr– 9th v Ellerslie Home 5pm 3—0 towards a great day at the club and we hope Apr-16th v Noth Shore Away 3pm 1—1 the weather will play its part. We return after having a couple of wins on the trot Apr-22nd v Metro Home 7.30pm 2—5 which is a welcome site after some results we'd rather forget. A hard battling win and an excellent Apr-25th v Oratia Away 3pm 1—2 result against Mangere at Centre Park last week with some outstanding Apr-30th v Manurewa Home 5pm 1—3 performances on the field. To we welcome Hibiscus Coast along with their supporters and we wish you all the best. Coast won't be easy and even May-7th v Franklin Away 3pm 1—4 though they are probably not where they want to be also in the league, I'm sure they will be doing everything they can to bounce back up towards May 15th v A2 Wanderers Chatham Cup 3—2 the top. To that end, our boys are desperate to show that we are not really where we deserve to be. May-21st v Mangere Away 3pm 3—2 May-28th v Hibiscus Coast Home 5pm The Reserves also are still pushing hard for top honours and it is hearten- ing to see that there are some boys who are getting some game time in June-3rd v Mt Albert Ponsonby Away 7pm the 1st team as well. We truly do have an integrated squad along with the Chatham 1st Div side too. Eric and the 1st Div boys will be hoping for a turnaround of results today so all the best on that front. June-6th v East Coast Bays Cup 2pm Home June-11th v Waitakere City Away 3pm To the Women. They are away at Birkenhead, who are really struggling this year so we do expect 3 points with a hat full of goals as well. The June-18th v BYE Women’s 1st Team lost their first game of the season in a top of the table clash last week. On the positive side, we know they can play a lot better June-25th v Ellerslie Home 5pm and a draw might have been a fair result so we are by no means out of the July-2nd v North Shore Home 5pm race. It is a very competitive league at the top end and our girls are doing the club proud. July– 8th v Metro Away 7.30pm Lastly, I'd like to thank the ball girls and boys who have been supporting July-16th v Oratia Home 5pm both 1st teams this season at home. It's a welcome return to have them July-23rd v Manurewa Away 3pm there and myself, along with the Executive will be pushing hard from now on to ensure that the 1st Team members of Men and Women will be seen July-30th v Franklin Home 5pm mingling with the juniors on Saturday mornings. The more we act together as one club, the stronger we will be. Name: Newton Rewi Age: 27 Nickname: Rainman Position: Defender Supports: Industrial Workers of the World Football Idol: Peter Odemwingie Best Moment in Football: Getting a 2-2 draw at after being 2-0 down after 90 minutes. Worst Moment in Football: Missing out on promotion by one point in 2014 Favourite Food: Plants Car: The Hot Box Coach’s Comment: Newton is one of the most industrious players in the team, his work rate and commitment to the cause is second to none. I like to keep Newton active at all times during a game as his ability to analyse and overthink every play makes him a dangerous weapon indeed.
