After studies in the University of the artist Sandra Silevica studied painting at the and iconography at the Latvian Christian Academy, thus creating a peculiar synthesis of these two disciplines of art. She has participated in exhibitions since 2007. Her paintings are in private collections in Latvia, Russia, Germany, Great Britain, etc. The paintings are characterized by elements of labels & reality, liveliness & meditation, being a child & seduction, dreamy & steady, being plane & dimensional, with help of pure color, definite line and positive energy. Her’s art works embodies for her (as an artist) most important things – 1. eyes contact to show personal involvement, create intimate bonds and provide emotional information; 2. pure color as a symbol of beaytiful and venerable mind and feelings, without muds and destructive anger; 3. meditative mood; 4. technical quality. The painting „After the Rain” comes from collection „Sweet home”. It is lively; the portrait is attractive and unforgettable. The artist in her paintings achieves energetically powerful and positive information flow. The new collection of paintings glows with beauty of a moment and divine moment of truth. The play of light and images reflected in the paintings express the warm feeling that rouses when you return home. Only at home we can seek rest, find peace and that special place, where you can be yourself, where you can receive endless love. That is the place that will wait for you, be yours and will make you happy.
