New York, February 19, 2013 2/2 Appointments bolster ’ global OTC commodity derivatives business, strengthening cooperation with commodities financing

London and New York, 19th February 2013: Natixis today announces a series of appointments to its Global Markets Commodities business – expanding the ’s global OTC commodities derivatives sales presence in the Americas.

Lucy Ortiz-Kildow joins Natixis’ Global Markets Commodities (GMC) as a Senior Commodities Derivatives sales person focusing on upstream independent E&P companies, mid-stream oil and gas companies as well as energy processors, all in the Americas.

Lucy is based in Houston, working in close partnership with Natixis’ Global Energy & Commodities (GEC) finance group, which sits within the bank’s Structured & Asset Finance division.

Lucy has more than 14 years’ experience in the Americas energy markets from her positions with Cinergy, Total S.A., Crédit Agricole and, most recently, BBVA. Lucy reports to Alberto Vogel, Global Head of Commodities Sales, in New York. She has a BA in accounting and tax from the University of Houston.

Robin Baskin joins Natixis’ Global Markets Commodities as Senior Commodities Derivatives sales person focusing on metals deal origination.

Robin is based in NY working in close partnership with the mining and metals financing teams within Natixis’ Global Energy & Commodities finance group inside Structured & Asset Finance (SAF).

Robin has more than 18 years’ experience in commodities sales and deal origination at banking institutions in both New York and London.

Robin previously held positions with Crédit Agricole, J.P. Morgan, NM Rothschild, UBS and where she was Head of Base and Precious Metals Sales.

Robin has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

-more- Shaun Ince joins Natixis’ Global Markets Commodities group as a Senior Refined Oil Products Derivatives trader in New York, working with Global Markets Commodities’ energy sales force in the Americas to offer hedging instruments to energy consumers across the Americas. Shaun joins from the Bank of Montreal.

Shaun has been involved in energy commodities trading for 18 years, with a broad product background including experience in oil, gas, power and petrochemicals. After graduating with a degree in Economics from the LSE, Shaun’s first position was with Enron, followed by Koch, Societe Generale, Mitsui and Sempra. Shaun reports to Darren Meeks in London.

Niels Hansen-Love has been promoted to Global coordinator for Commodity Derivatives. Niels will be responsible inside Natixis’ Global Energy & Commodities finance group for the global coordination of the cross-selling of commodities derivatives with the Global Markets Commodities Group. Niels will be based in London and report to Dominique Fraisse, Global Head of Global Energy & Commodities, in Paris and to Pierre-Henri Denain, Senior Country Manager, in London. Niels joined Natixis in 2009 and has 30 years of commodities experience from FIMAT/Newedge in Asia, Europe and in the US.

Indeed, all the appointments are a result of the growing strategic cooperation between Natixis’ commodities financing business, Global Energy & Commodities, which sits within the bank’s Structured & Asset Finance division, and the OTC commodities derivatives business, within the bank’s Global Markets division.
