Last year has flown by and it's hard to believe that it's that time of the year again when we launch the 2014 Tullamore Show and the AIB National Show. Once again our main sponsor of the National Livestock Show is AIB and as always we are delighted to have them on board. I wish to extend and acknowledge our sincere thanks to AIB. It is the twelfth year of our association with them and we are very much looking forward to yet another successful year.

Without our sponsors the Show could not proceed to such a high standard and we could not reward our prize winners to such an extent. Moreover we extend a huge 'thank you' to all of our valued sponsors for their continual support.

Last year saw the introduction of our online system for entries and this is proving to be an extremely popular and user friendly. Entries can be completed online with ease and efficiency at www.tullamoreshow.com.

I am very proud and happy to take on the role of Chairman for a second year running and I look forward to meeting and greeting both old and new acquaintances on the Butterfield Estate this August.

Thanks to all sub-committee for the immense hard work they have put into preparing the Schedule of Classes.

Finally I wish all exhibitors well in 2014 and hope you have a safe and enjoyable day. Looking forward to meeting you on the day!

Yours sincerely,

Rodney Cox Chairman
