RIDING THE STREETCAR The Seattle Streetcar provides citizens an easy-to-use, effective way to get around the South Lake Union, Denny Triangle and Downtown Retail Core areas.

OPERATING HOURS The Streetcar will run at 15-minute intervals. Monday – Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday & Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sunday & Holidays 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Seattle Streetcars’ features the Nextbus system. A Global Position System (GPS) technology that alerts passengers to streetcar arrival times at the 11 stops and on-line, making it easy to schedule and plan a trip.

FARES revenues will help to support the ongoing operation of the Seattle Streetcar.

Adults: $1.75 65 and over: $ .50 Persons with disabilities: $ .50 Youth (ages 6-17): $ .50 Children 5 and under: Free Tickets should be purchased upon entering the streetcar at the payment station in the middle of the vehicle. Tickets purchased will be valid for two (2) hours & will be honored for transfer to any Seattle Streetcar or King County Metro . The following forms of payment are also accepted to ride the Seattle Streetcar; Metro Pass, Puget Pass, Flexpass, GO Pass, U-Pass, Visitor Pass, Regional Reduced Fare Permit (with monthly or annual sticker), and active Metro bus transfer slips. Riders must be ready to show their ticket, pass or transfer if a fare inspector or ask to see proof of payment.

When riding please remember the following: • Streetcar does NOT stop at every stop automatically. • You MUST signal the operator by pushing the vertical or horizontal yellow strip on the high floor section of the car or push the buttons on the door prior to the platform you are requesting. • Streetcar will stop for passengers at stop platforms. • Streetcars have low floors for easy of wheelchairs. • Bicycles are allowed on Streetcars in the low floor section only. • Guide dogs and companion animals are allowed on leash only.
