MAG-40 Firearm, Ammunition & Other Equipment Suggestions Bridgeville, Delaware Nov. 4 – 7, 2021

• MAG-40 “Armed Citizen’s Rules of Engagement and Live Fire Training”

• Handgun: good condition handgun with which you are familiar in a modern defensive caliber (normally minimum .38 Special for Revolvers and 9mm Luger for Semi-Automatics). • Magazines: minimum of three (3) magazines for Semi-Automatics or three (3) speed-loaders for Revolvers, plus a belt carrier for the extra magazines or speed-loaders (more than 3 are strongly advised). • Holster: a good condition, quality leather or Kydex holster that is designed specifically for the handgun you plan to use in class; generally a strong side, belt-slide style concealment holster that would be hidden by a light covering garment (avoid fabric “soft” holsters, pocket holsters, cross-draw holsters, and “deep cover” holsters; please contact MAG ahead of time if you are considering use of a shoulder holster). Leather holsters are strongly advised. • Belt: a good condition, quality heavy duty leather belt designed for the carry of a holstered handgun and accessories. Must provide enough adjustment range for equipment carried. • Ammunition: a minimum of 500 rounds of practice ammunition (we recommend that up to 1,000 rounds of practice ammunition be brought); factory new ammo is very strongly advised.

• Additional General Items for Any MAG Training Session

• All pre-class study materials that may be provided by MAG. Read these in advance! • Note taking materials (spiral notebook, pocket-sized notepad, several pens or pencils). MAG cannot guarantee facilities to plug in PCs if you bring one, so plan on taking paper notes. • Eye protection (shooting glasses and ANSI safety spec Rx glasses); Sunglasses may prove very useful, but they must also meet ANSI safety protection spec’s (the range faces North). • Hearing protection (earmuff style recommended); both Earmuffs and Ear Plugs for Rifle. • Brimmed, baseball-style cap (keeps hot, sharp ejected brass from hitting your face). • Flashlight; tactical style flashlight with push-button switch & extra batteries, bulbs. • Comfortable, sturdy clothing and footwear (the range terrain is mostly sand with gravel). • Rainwear plus a light jacket and sweater or sweatshirt (mornings can be cold). • Firearm cleaning supplies (firearms should be cleaned daily after class). • A folding chair or camp stool (a small, waterproof ground cloth can be useful, too). • Personal items (i.e., medications, sunscreen lotion, insect repellant, adhesive bandages, toilet paper, pre-moistened disposable hand/face wipes, etc.). • WATER (lots and lots of water...stay hydrated to avoid fatigue and dehydration). • LUNCH (MAG does not provide food or snacks. Bring a lunch and any snacks daily).

Limited quantities of bottled drinking water will be available to the class participants.

FYI, MAG does provide Unisex portable, restroom toilet and hand- washing facilities, but personal hand sanitizer and/or disposable washcloths are often very useful and desired. We strongly recommend that you have four (4) days’ worth with you.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: October 15, 2021
