1) Shifting 220/132 KV HT crossings (3 Nos) 2) Shifting 440 kv EHT crossings (6 Nos) - (Already entire amount deposited with TRANSCO) TS -TRANSCO So far only at 4 Nos of EHT Crossing locations, foundation work has been started by TRANSCO. Earlier target for shifting entire 9 Nos of EHT crossings was given by TRANSCO as January’ 21 but at present progress is only around 25%. 1) For 2 Nos. of ROBs ie ROB No. 7 at State Highway & ROB 50 at National Highway crossing, Approaches are being executed by State R&B Authorities. (80% amount for construction of approaches has been deposited. ) R & B Dept, Telangana Progress of approaches is only around 50%. Further this work is slowed down due to land acquisition issues in approaches. (LA in approaches is being dealt by R&B authorities) 1) Handing Over of 17 Ha. Land. This balance land is mainly required for ROB/RUB approaches and for extra formation Revenue Dept. width. (State Govt.), Telangana Land acquisition is under different stages. Issue is being pursued with DC/Kothagudem and DC/Khammam. It is expected to get all balance land by March’ 2021

Physical works have come to a stand still due non deposition of funds. During a meeting held on 10.02.2021, Government of AP has suggested a new alignment : Kadapa-Muddanur-Mudigubba-Sri Satya Sai Nilyam- Bangalore AP State (Thus abandoning the old alignment) A survey for part of above alignment for Muddanur-Mudigubba new Government line has been completed in Dec 2020. For 65 km new line cost has been assessed as Rs 1616 Cr. Further from Mudigubba - Sri Satya Sai Nilyam cost has not been assessed. Railway Board decision is awaited.
