Introduction – Rounders Project In 2013, Canterbury started working with Rounders to develop the sport in Kent. Initially the sessions ran as community games that anyone could attend as well as delivering Rounders within local Secondary Schools. The focus changed in 2014 to work with local workplaces and get more adults playing in a social and recreational level. In 2014 and 2015, the Canterbury leagues had 5 teams that played in the league. In 2016 the project brought 3 District areas together. Swale had 2 teams enter, Thanet and Canterbury both had 4 teams each that played across 3 different league areas. As the project will be part funded by Rounders England they will require monitoring and evaluation data to be returned for all participation at the end of the project.
