AWhether you have visited before, or are new to the event, we have no doubt that you will be inspired, delighted and very tempted to buy from the wonderful range of artists who take part. The event boasts a wide variety of art forms, from ceramics to painting to jewellery. For locals it is a perfect opportunity to see what happens on your street, and to explore the borough discovering gems you didn't know about. For visitors from further afield it is a great day out with a warm welcome waiting at every ‘open house’ stop. You will find a map showing where the open houses are but we recommend that you take an A-Z or mobile map with you as well. This map also shows places where other visual arts activities are taking place, including the Big Draw events. You can visit www.wandsworthart.com to find more information about each of the artists and their venues including more images of their work. As well you can plan your visit making a personalized trail. During the day artists will have local maps available.

Not all the venues are open both weekends. * Only open the first weekend ** Open both weekends This symbol next to a listing indicates steps, stairs or limited access. Artists are opening their homes to take part in this event and so we cannot guarantee that every venue is fully accessible.

Artists’ Open House is organised by the Arts Team at Wandsworth Council in conjunction with an artists’ steering committee. For more information contact (020) 8871 8711 or [email protected]

Wandsworth Council strives to ensure that the information provided is correct at the time of going to print and cannot be held responsible for last minute changes to studios or the project.

20 Common Knowledge Common Knowledge is a Secret Garden Project, commissioned by UP Projects, in partnership with Wandsworth Arts Team, which explores Tooting Bec Common. Artist Jacques Nimki, along with local young people have been recording the stories and experiences of visitors to the Common, as well as unearthing its natural and historical heritage.

The information has been used to create a variety of artworks including digital maps and signage which give an alternative perspective of how we view and engage with such a unique and much loved green space.

Join us at the launch event!

On Saturday 20th October at 2pm, the signs and maps will be launched on Tooting Bec Common and the artist will give a “walk and talk” tour ending with a picnic tea. For more information please visit: www.secretgardenproject.co.uk or contact [email protected]
