Message from Inspector Teresa Futter Welcome to this month’s newsletter. It has been confirmed that residents in North are residing in a low crime area – we currently experience the second lowest crime rate within Norfolk – with being the lowest. The good news is that this is less than half of the national average. This is without doubt through the work of our officers, Special constables, volunteers and cadets and yourselves within the communities themselves. If you would like to join us and become part of our team then I would be interested to hear from you. We value the contributions that those within the community can offer in whatever capacity. Thank you for your ongoing support.

Message from your Engagement Officer PC Pete Davison

Scams affect the lives of millions of people across the UK. People who are scammed often experience shame and social isolation as a result. Friends Against Scams is a National Trading Standards (NTS) Scams Team initiative, which aims to protect and prevent people from becoming victims of scams by empowering communities to "Take a Stand Against Scams". Friends Against Scams is designed to inspire action, highlight the scale of the problem, change the perceptions of why people fall for scams and make scams a community, regional and national topic. I have recently become a Friend Against Scams and I would encourage you to join me by completing the online awareness session. Find out more at www.friendsagainstscams.org.uk.
