Diagnostic Notes Uredinia amphigenous, mostly hypophyllis, sparse, golden becoming pale, powdery, initially covered by the epidermis and later exposed; urediniospores obovate to pyriform, 28-40 x 20-25 µm, golden becoming pale, wall strongly echinulate; telia mostly hypophyllis, sparse, minute, round, covered by the epidermis; teliospores clavate to cylindrical, 50-83 x 14-21 µm, apex rounded, acute or truncate, gradually thickened towards the apex, septum slightly or not constricted, smooth, brown, paler towards the base, with a short pedicel.
