PART I: TARGET BOARDS 2021

A segment of students in class XII lack focus and need help in following a structured program, in order to formulate their goals and improve their individual scores. Through motivation and self-focus, it is possible to improve scores and optimize personal results by a good margin.

A special emphasis will be laid on parameters that influence a student’s academic performance. This section aims at helping the child to study smart instead of studying hard. Therefore, the highlight of this section would be on the techniques that could be applied towards smart studying, which would eventually lead to maximum productivity in a student, thus, a higher score.

PART II: PLANNING COLLEGE ADMISSIONS

A number of new educational institutes both in the Govt. sector as well as the Private sector have emerged, and the career landscape has changed considerably. For Commerce and humanities students, varied options such as venture capital, stock market, portfolio management, corporate law, media management, corporate training, career counselling, product design, communication design, digital marketing, etc. have surfaced and have become some of the hottest careers available.

Similarly, for Science students, courses such as Space Research, Data Science, Application Development, Nuclear Physics, Fisheries Science, Cloud Computing, Crop Biotechnology, Automobile Design, Artificial Intelligence, Nanotechnology, Robotics, Gaming Technology, Paint Technology, Cosmetology, etc. have become the new trend. A number of courses/institutions have started which offer a new pattern of education and a variety of new courses, such as Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore; Chennai Mathematical Institute; IISER; NISER (National Institute of Sciences Education & Research, Bhubaneswar); UM-DAE Centre for Excellence in Basic Science, Mumbai; IIIT, Delhi; NIT, Delhi; Ambedkar University; IIM, Indore; Footwear Design & Development Institute, Noida; Institute of Apparel Management, ; IICD, Jaipur;SAARC University; English & Foreign Language University, etc.. In addition, new private universities such as Shiv Nadar University, Azim PremjiUniversity, FLAME Pune, Ashoka University, , etc. are expanding their horizons to teach and train students.

Given the current situation of chaos in the higher education system of India, there is a lot of confusion amongst students, parents, teachers as well as counsellors over career planning, future prospects and placement. Therefore, every aspirant is in dire need of a systematic approach to career planning. This programme equips them with the process and the tools to comprehend and implement on it.

PART III: STUDY ABROAD

In India, increased competition and ever-evolving structure of higher education have become a bone of contention amongst students. Therefore, many students are flocking towards pursuing higher education from abroad at all levels. In addition, the parameters of higher education from abroad such as global recognition, academic excellence, flexibility of study options, financial management, vast playfield of course options, etc. are of paramount importance to students.

Moreover, the myth of roof-touching expenses, which are often linked to higher education from abroad, is in need of being debunked.

Therefore, this session would primarily focus on demystifying the myths and establishment of facts about study abroad and a crystal-clear picture would be laid out on the parameters mentioned above.
