Then, you need to prepare  Taiwan passport  Personal Statement If you do not apply to Medicine program, submit a statement with a maximum of 2 pages. If you have applied to Medicine program, submit a statement with a maximum of 250 words only.  School Transcripts  Awards and Certificates (Academic / Professional Achievements) You may provide a maximum of 10 awards or certificates that prove your academic or professional achievements. Such academic awards include but not limited to any international level competition (Olymiad Exams) or inter- school level competition (English Speech Contests). Such professional certificates include but not limited to CFA or FRM.  Reference Letters You can submit up to 3 referee's contact information. The referee may be your high school teacher, a professor, or an employer with related academic background who can prove your academic strengths or professional skills. After successfully submitting online application, your referee will receive an invitation email to login the "Online Confidential Recommendation System" to complete the Confidential Recommendation Report. He or she can also attach a Reference Letter as a supplement. Your referee could submit it online through the Online Confidential Recommendation System or print out the Confidential Recommendation Form and Reference Letter (if applicable) and mail them in a sealed envelope by post to the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid.

 GSAT(學測)/AST(指考) Exam Result If you have not received your GSAT Exam Result when you apply, just submit a predicted grade under section “Public Examinations - To be attempted” and upload the real result when you receive it. Remember, it is required to have a total score of GSAT within the top 13% of the cohort concerned or a total score of AST within the top 13%

of the cohort concerned in at least four subjects.  English Requirement: Taiwan GSAT / AST English: Top 13% of the cohort If you fail to reach the requirement in GSAT/AST Exam, you need to take other public exam to prove your English proficiency. For example, IELTS: 6.0 / TOEFL (iBT): 80 / SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing: 590 / SAT Reasoning Test (Old): 8 in Essay. Thus, the offer that CUHK give you will be “conditional”. Offer Confirmation  Admission Offer Letter Sign and complete duplicate copy of the admission offer letter by the specified date; otherwise the admission offer will become null and void.  First Installment of Composition Fees Pay the first installment of composition fees of HK$10,000 by the specified date; otherwise the admission offer will become null and void.  Multiple Entry Permit (MEP) + Official Student Visa To successfully enter Hong Kong without applying entry permit every time, you can apply for Multiple Entry Permit (MEP). It grants you unlimited times to enter Hong Kong within a certain period (either 1 or 3 years). To successfully apply for MEP, you need to apply also for the Official Student Visa. Good news is that you can apply for Multiple Entry Permit (MEP) + Official Student Visa at the same time. Military Services (Male Only)  Are You a Draftee? According to National Conscription Agency, “Drafting Age” ranges between 19 (from January 1st) to 36 (before December 31th). Those who reach drafting age and have not completed their military services will be under departure control. Therefore, draftees who will study abroad must apply for an exit permit from your local service center to the National Immigration Agency. “Drafting Age” Calculation: Current Year minus Year of Birth (Example: 2018 - 1999 = 19) Those who were born between 1/1/1999 to 12/31/1999 all reach the “Drafting Age” of 19 in 2018.
