2 Kings 1:13 (NKJV) 13 Again, he sent a third captain of fifty with his fifty men. 2 Kings 6:8 (NKJV) 8 Now the king of Syria was making war against Israel; and he consulted with his servants, saying, "My camp will be in such and such a place."

2 Kings 6:9 (NKJV) 9 And the man of God sent to the king of Israel, saying, "Beware that you do not pass this place, for the Syrians are coming down there."

2 Kings 6:10 (NKJV) 10 Then the king of Israel sent someone to the place of which the man of God had told him. Thus he warned him, and he was watchful there, not just once or twice.

2 Kings 6:12 (NKJV) 12 And one of his servants said, "None, my lord, O king; but , the who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom."

2 Kings 6:17 (NKJV) 17 And Elisha prayed, and said, "LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

2 Kings 6:19 (NKJV) 19 Now Elisha said to them, "This is not the way, nor is this the city. Follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom you seek." But he led them to Samaria.

2 Kings 6:20 (NKJV) 20 So it was, when they had come to Samaria, that Elisha said, "LORD, open the eyes of these men, that they may see." And the LORD opened their eyes, and they saw; and there they were, inside Samaria!

2 Kings 6:21 (NKJV) 21 Now when the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha, "My father, shall I kill them? Shall I kill them?"

2 Kings 6:22 (NKJV) 22 But he answered, "You shall not kill them. Would you kill those whom you have taken captive with your sword and your bow? Set food and water before them, that they may eat and drink and go to their master."

2 Kings 6:23 (NKJV) 23 Then he prepared a great feast for them; and after they ate and drank, he sent them away and they went to their master. So the bands of Syrian raiders came no more into the land of Israel.

Philippians 4:11 (NKJV) 11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:

Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

John 3:5 (NKJV) 5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

John 3:7 (NKJV) 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'

John 3:8 (NKJV) 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."

Elijah & God's Ways

1 Kings 17:9 (NKJV) 9 "Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you."

Luke 4:25 (NKJV)

Page3 2019.5.5 25 But I tell you truly, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, and there was a great famine throughout all the land;

Luke 4:26 (NKJV) 26 but to none of them was Elijah sent except to Zarephath, in the region of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.

Romans 8:14 (NKJV) 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Elijah & God's Ways

1 Kings 17:9 (NKJV) 9 "Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you."

1 Kings 17:10 (NKJV) 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, indeed a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, "Please bring me a little water in a cup, that I may drink."

1 Kings 17:11 (NKJV) 11 And as she was going to get it, he called to her and said, "Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand."

1 Kings 17:12 (NKJV) 12 So she said, "As the LORD your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die."

1 Kings 17:13 (NKJV) 13 And Elijah said to her, "Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son.

1 Kings 17:14 (NKJV) 14 For thus says the LORD God of Israel: 'The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the LORD sends rain on the earth."'

1 Kings 17:15 (NKJV) 15 So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days.

Elijah & God's Ways

1 Kings 17:17 (NKJV) 17 Now it happened after these things that the son of the woman who owned the house became sick. And his sickness was so serious that there was no breath left in him.

1 Kings 17:18 (NKJV) 18 So she said to Elijah, "What have I to do with you, O man of God? Have you come to me to bring my sin to remembrance, and to kill my son?"

1 Kings 17:19 (NKJV) 19 And he said to her, "Give me your son." So he took him out of her arms and carried him to the upper room where he was staying, and laid him on his own bed.

1 Kings 17:20 (NKJV) 20 Then he cried out to the LORD and said, "O LORD my God, have You also brought tragedy on the widow with whom I lodge, by killing her son?"

1 Kings 17:21 (NKJV) 21 And he stretched himself out on the child three times, and cried out to the LORD and said, "O LORD my God, I pray, let this child's soul come back to him."

Page4 2019.5.5

Luke 15:2 (NKJV) 2 And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, "This Man receives sinners and eats with them."

Luke 15:3 (NKJV) 3 So He spoke this parable to them, saying:

Luke 15:4 (NKJV) 4 "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?

Luke 15:5 (NKJV) 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

Luke 15:6 (NKJV) 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!'

Luke 15:7 (NKJV) 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
