Edith McGuire Duvall Bill Elliott Dale Ellis The five inductees for the Class of 2017 are: 1). –Played linebacker at East Coweta High School, Ga Tech, and then with the Buck Godfrey . Five time pro bowler with Falcons, and member of Falcons 1998 Super Bowl XXXIII Bill Hartman John Heisman team. Evander Holyfield Lou Hudson 2). Julia Emmons –Executive Director of Atlanta Track Club and Director of Peachtree Road Race for 22 years (1985-2006). Ernie Johnson, Sr. Bobby Jones Calvin “Monk” Jones 3). Steve Holman –Called the “Ironman of NBA broadcasting”. Holman has done the radio broadcast of every game for the last 27 years, since being named the sole radio broadcaster back in Roger Kaiser 1989. A span of nearly 2,500 games. Corky Kell Steve Lundquist 4). Coach Bob Reinhart –Reinhart made the jump from a state champion high school basketball head Earl Mann coach to assistant NBA bench coach to head college coach. And he did it all in Atlanta. He coached at Dr. Phil McCrary Decatur High School, then with the Atlanta Hawks, and finally with Georgia State University. Larry Nelson The Awards and Induction Ceremonies for the class of 2017 will include a reception, art exhibit, silent auction, raffle, a parade of past inductees, and then concludes with the awards and induction ceremony.
