Statistical Snapshot

Our reporting team are busy preparing the End-of-year report for 2013-2014. This graph shows that patient visits have reached an all time high. This is an average of 126 patients per day! Total admissions to our wards for the past financial year was 7,421.

I think you will agree that Kiwoko Hospital continues to be very busy. People are travelling from all over to seek medical help here.

Points for Prayer

Kiwoko Hospital is a Christ centred health facility in rural Uganda.

If you pray, please pray. Here are some prayer points:  Thanks for God’s continued provision. Although we never seem to have too much, we always have just enough in terms of staff, money, equipment, faith....  The work of the Mission Team and Chaplaincy as they seek to bring people to Jesus and to find forgiveness and purpose in following Him.  The Estates dept. developing plans for extending theatres to cope with an ever increasing demand for especially emergency surgical obstetric care. Likewise, plans to develop the outpatient department. Both these areas need good plans finalised and funding to be sourced before work can begin.  For every patient, student, staff member and visitor that they would come into relation- ship with Jesus.  The leadership team as they seek to lead almost 400 staff. Particularly development of the newer and younger members of the team.  The search for a Business Manager (previously Programmes Manager) to mentor and build leadership capacity.

The Equipment Wish List Despite having a phenomenal engineering team, we do still need to replace some very old equipment.

We have a detailed list of equipment needed throughout the departments. If you are able to help meet any of these needs we would be very grateful.

We can send you a copy of the list, please email us: [email protected]
