Page 22 GB Challenge Clio Cup IV Ultimate Cup Series Sporting and Technical regulation 2020 - final.docxfinal

At any time during an event, the Ultimate Cup Series Scrutineers may : a) Check the conformity of a car. b) Require that a car, or part of the car, be dismantled by the competitor to ensure that the conditions of admission or conformity are fully respected. c) Ask a competitor to provide any sample or any part or element or recorded data that they may deem necessary. The technical compliance checks will be carried out by the Ultimate Cup Series Scrutineers. The Organizers of the Challenge Clio Cup IV Ultimate Cup Series will publish the conclusions of the Technical Stewards concerning the technical verifications of conformity of the cars after each event. These results will not include specific figures except when a car is found not to comply with the Technical Regulations.

2.1. - Principle of technical regulations

The parts making up the Renault Clio Cup IV are divided into three categories.

CATEGORY "A": No modification is authorized. Parts classified in this category must remain in their original position and perform the functions for which they were intended. These parts are necessarily original RENAULT SPORT RACING or RENAULT parts. Adaptation parts are prohibited.

CATEGORY "B": Only the modifications or prescriptions indicated in the 2019 Technical Regulations or the 2019 Nomenclature of the RENAULT CLIO CUP X98 are authorized. These parts are necessarily original RENAULT SPORT RACING or RENAULT parts. Adaptation parts are prohibited. Parts classified in this category must remain in their original position and perform the functions for which they were intended.

CATEGORY "C": Parts classified in this category are considered free on the express condition that the original function is not diverted and that no additional function is added. They must be located in the same locations as the original parts. Their presence is mandatory at their original position. Adaptation parts are tolerated and must be submitted to the Technical Stewards for approval before use.

NB: All the parts constituting an element are subject to the same category as the element concerned. Any addition of a part or function that was not originally planned is prohibited.

MARKING OF SPECIFIC PARTS

Some parts of categories A, B, are marked with a specific RENAULT SPORT RACING marking (hologram or engraving). The presence of this marking guarantees the origin of the parts concerned and their use is mandatory. The absence of a marking on a part affected by this marking is a technical non-conformity. NB: The presence of the marking cannot serve as a defense argument in the event of non-compliance noted during the technical checks.

Screws

With the exception of specific screws and classified in category A, all the screws are free, provided that it meets the following criteria: - the original diameter, - the pitch of the original thread, - the original material (example: a steel screw can only be replaced by a steel screw to the exclusion of any other material), - the original mechanical properties must be kept to a minimum, (example: a quality 8.8 screw can be replaced by a quality 10.8 screw, but vice versa is not allowed). To ensure the tightening of the screws, it is

Page 23 GB Challenge Clio Cup IV Ultimate Cup Series Sporting and Technical regulation 2020 - final.docxfinal

authorized to put safety wire. The washers are in category "C" except in special cases mentioned in the nomenclature. In the case of parts not shown on the nomenclature, these are systematically classified in category "A". NB: Any addition of parts or set of parts, not appearing on the nomenclature must be submitted beforehand to the approval of the Technical Stewards. The drawings used for the nomenclature are a schematic illustration of the parts they represent to facilitate understanding. These drawings do not necessarily represent the precise shape of the components of the RENAULT CLIO CUP. In no case may therefore be referred to the representation of a part or element to determine compliance.

2.2. - Permanent compliance with the Regulations

RENAULT CLIO CUP must fully comply with these regulations, the 2019 Clio Cup X98 nomenclature and the Clio Cup X98 2019 technical bulletins throughout the course of an event. The driver, his competitor and the team will be responsible for the permanent technical conformity of the car.

2.3. - Repairs

Any intervention on the car must be carried out according to the methods defined by the various technical documents issued by RENAULT SPORT RACING and in compliance with these Regulations, so as to keep the original configuration of the vehicle. Any spare part fitted must comply with the criteria linked to the above- mentioned categories, which includes the replaced part. Parts classified in category "A" or "B" must be original RENAULT SPORT RACING and appear in the 2019 Catalog of Spare Parts for the RENAULT CLIO CUP X98.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1) 1) The driver, his competitor and the team being held responsible for the permanent conformity of the car and of the spare parts assembled and used, they must therefore ensure their technical conformity before use.

2) Any original spare part which does not fit in place of the part which it replaces without modification must in NO CASE be used and must be exchanged, after having informed the Technical Steward.

3) During an event, any car which, after having been approved by the Scrutineers, would have been repaired or modified in such a way as to affect its safety or question its conformity, or which would have been involved in an accident with similar consequences, must be presented again to the Scrutineers by the competitor for a new approval.

2.4. - Technical passport Competitors must present the previously established technical passport (2018 and / or 2019). For those who do not have one, the Technical Stewards in charge of the Challenge Clio Cup IV Ultimate Cup Series will establish a technical passport at the time of the preliminary technical checks of the first participation of the vehicle if they have all the elements available to do so. . The remarks affixed to this passport must be signed by the competitor or an official representative of the team at each event.
