A MESSAGE FROM THE The members of the Company of St Peter are like links in a living chain of continuing worship and care that stretches back over thirteen centuries on this site. Through the years this has been a place where people have gathered in the name of Christ and have received hospitality, care and service in his name. The Company helps support our great Cathedral church financially in three ways, by generous annual contributions towards the fabric, the music and the ministry. Conscious of our long history and supporting the present-day activities, the Company is keen to maintain, preserve and develop what we have for future generations. The idea of the ‘Company’ is significant; not only do we raise funds for the Cathedral, but we do so with a sense of celebration and community, with meals and outings and other gatherings. I very much hope that you will join our Company of St Peter and I look forward to seeing you soon.

The Very Revd Christopher Dalliston

Dean of Peterborough 3

FREE WILLS A number of local solicitors’ firms support us by offering to draw up a basic will for anyone who is considering leaving a gift to the Cathedral. A basic will is one that leaves gifts to specified people and causes and then says who will share in the remaining assets. (A more complicated will, including tax advice, would incur an extra charge.) You are not obliged to leave anything to the Cathedral to take advantage of this offer, but we very much hope you will consider doing so.
