SPUC ‘WHITE FLOWER’ APPEAL on 20/21 January The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children (SPUC) is holding its annual appeal. In 2017 SPUC commemorated the 51st anniversary of the passing of the 1967 Abortion Act. Over 8.7 million unborn children have lost their lives due to abortion in the last fifty years. Since 1967 SPUC has been working tirelessly to uphold the sanctity of human life from conception until natural death. Please be as generous as you can to help SPUC and help save mothers and babies from abortion.

Maidstone and Hastings Day Centres for homeless people need warm, clean clothes for the men & women who use the centres; and would be very grateful if you could donate any of the following; mainly for men but also some women:  clean, warm winter clothes, including shoes & boots, fleeces, anoraks, coats, jumpers, hats, scarves, gloves,, pants and socks, Sleeping bags and blankets. The Helpers of God’s Precious Infants: reach out in love & compassion to mothers who are in crisis pregnancies & to those who have suffered the effects of abortion. The reasons that parents find themselves in these circumstances are varied, but God is there holding out His Hand of Love & Mercy. The Rosary Procession Vigil will be on Friday 19th January at St. Francis’ Church, 126 Week Street, ME14 1RH. We begin with 10.30am Mass followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. We begin our Rosary Procession at 11am following an Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, to Marie Stopes abortion centre, Brewer Street, ME14 1RV, where we pray 15 decades of the Rosary & sing hymns, returning at approx.12.30pm for refreshments nearby.
