DCA IS FOCUSING ON THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES: DCA CAR seeks to contribute to the protection of life and dignity in the Central African Republic by reducing threats to communities’ safety resulting from armed violence and conflict and by improving their access to economic opportunities and psychosocial support and by advocating for equal human rights. This is achieved at multiple levels: ● At the individual level, DCA supports the population through basic psychosocial support services and Risk Education sessions on Explosive Remnants of War. ● At community level, DCA supports and capacitates the civil society including local NGOs, Community Based Organizations, farmers’, women’s and youth groups. The support strengthens these groups’ ability to represent and protect their members. ● Regionally and nationally, DCA liaise and coordinate with other relief and development organizations so that delivery of aid is efficient and complementary.
