On Monday, March 18, 2013, the Whirling Thunder Wellness Program held their Annual Nutrition Month Activity. This year a Health Fair was held that focused on Nutrition and was open to Adults and Children. March was “National Nutrition Month”. The Program likes to have an activity on one of the days the children have off from school during the Month of March. St. Augustine’s Mission was able to bring their students down as they were in session that day. It was a cold, windy day but the students made their way down to the center. Attendance was up this year from last year. There were plenty of prizes to be won! Mary Kelsey our Nutri- tion Specialist is also sponsoring a Cook Off on Friday, March 29, 2013. We hope to have the winners posted in the next issue. Winnebago Indian News, Saturday, April 13, 2013 — Page 7 Around Bago From The Senior Citizen Center Ho-Chunk, Inc.
