Education & 1993–1995 Lecturer Engineer University of Technology/Baghdad Experience Lecturer Engineer  I was graduated from the Military College of engineering /Baghdad as a first student in the Aircraft Mechanical Engineering Department.  Labs lectures in practical applications of many experiments in the advanced materials labs to the students of College and Engineering College/ Al-Nahrain University.  Participate in many training courses in mechanical engineering and aeronautics engineering.  Installation of many labs in the field of mechanical Engineering inside the College.

1995-1998 MSc. Student MCE/Baghdad MSc. Student  During these two calendar years I ve got my MSc. Degree in the Metallurgical Engineering/Aircraft Materials Engineering.  My MSc. Thesis entitled {Optimization of mechanical properties and fracture toughness of 2024 Aluminum alloy by Thermomechanical Treatments}, under the supervision of the Assistant professor Dr. Eng. Faiq A. Al-Beidhany (BSc. From USA and PhD. In Metallurgy from Manchester University, UK).  My work completely done inside the Al-Rasheed College of engineering and / University of Technology/Baghdad labs and funded from the Iraqi Air ways company.

1998-2001 Member of staff in Military College of engineering /Baghdad

/Baghdad Member of staff :  Many courses to the undergraduate students of College in the following subjects:  Materials strength, Stress analysis, Metallurgy, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Phase Transformations in Metals and alloys, Heat treatments, Metallurgical Thermodynamics and Statistics.  Course of Production Engineering in the College of Engineering/ University of Babylon.

 A course of Industrial Engineering and Quality Control Engineering in the Technical College/ Baghdad.  Consultant Engineer in many industrial institutes and companies inside Iraq.  Participate in many activities in the MEC and many inside Iraq.

2001-2005 PhD. Student University of Technology PhD. Student  During these three calendar years I've got my PhD. Degree in the Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering  My work is under the following title {Study the effect of increasing zinc Percentage on the properties of Al-Zn-Mg alloys and its response to Thermomechanical Treatments}.  I ve got (Very Good) evaluation (83.5%) in courses and (very good) evaluation in Theses. 

2005-2006 Member of staff University of Technology Member of Staff  Senior lecturer in the Materials Engineering Department/University of Technology.  Giving a course of Phase Transformations in Metals and Alloys to the postgraduate students in the Materials Engineering Department/University of Technology.  A course of Phase Transformations in Metals and Alloys to the postgraduate students in the Materials Engineering Department/University of Babylon.  Supervising on the three students of Master of Science in the Materials Engineering in the University of Babylon.  Director of Postgraduate studies in the Materials Engineering Department/ College of Engineering/University of Babylon.  Senior Consultant Engineer in Al-Maisarah Group of Construction Companies.  Design and Supervising of Many Projects in the field of mechanical and materials engineering.

2006-2008

Head of Metallurgical Engineering Department/College of Materials Engineering/University of Babylon  Giving lectures in the Materials Engineering Department/University of Babylon.  Courses to the postgraduate students:  Phase Transformations in Metals and Alloys to the postgraduate students in the Materials Engineering Department/University of Babylon.  Advanced physical metallurgy.  Mechanical behavior of materials.  Supervising on many students of Master of Science in the Materials Engineering in the University of Babylon.

2008 until now: Assistant Professor in the department of materials engineering/University of Technology - Baghdad  Giving lectures in the Materials Engineering Department/University of Technology.  Giving a courses to the postgraduate students such as:  Solidification of Metals and Alloys course to the postgraduate students in the Materials Engineering Department/University of Babylon.  Advanced Mathematics to the PhD. Students in the materials engineering department/University of Technology.  Giving a Failure Analysis course to the undergraduate students:  Supervising on three students of Master of Science in the Materials Engineering in the University of Babylon.  Senior Consultant Engineer in Al-Maisarah Group of Construction Companies.
