Fifth Sunday of Easter Page Three

Dear Parishioners,

As you enter the “crying room” or the former Chapel in the church, you will notice four stained glass windows. All four windows express some aspect of our Blessed Mother. As you look at those windows from left to right you will notice the following references to Mary from the prayer “The Divine Praises.”

“Blessed Be the Great Mother of God, Mary Most Holy.” (Mother of God) “Blessed Be her Holy and Immaculate Conception.” (Immaculate Conception) “Blessed Be her Glorious Assumption.” (Assumption) “Blessed Be the Name of Mary, Virgin and Mother.” (Virgin and Mother)

In this month of May, also known as the month of Mary, we will reflect on and discuss each of these titles. It is going to be one title per week. We will begin on Friday, May 8 at 7pm. We will continue every Friday in May. There will be be- tween 45 minutes to an hour discussion on the topic and we will conclude with the Rosary.

Here are the dates for the presentation and discussion.

Friday, May 8, 2020 at 7 pm MOTHER OF GOD followed by the Joyful Mystery Friday, May 15, 2020 at 7 pm, IMMACULATE CONCEPTION followed by the Sorrowful Mystery. Friday, May 22, 2020 at 7 pm, VIRGIN AND MOTHER, followed by the Mystery of Light Friday, May 29, 2020 at 7 pm, GLORIOUS ASSUMPTION followed by the Glorious Mystery.

We will, in union with the whole Church, ask Mary for her intercession with this Pandemic.

Here is the Zoom information for all four meetings.
