PETRONAS TEAM TOM'S driver Andre Lotterer on car No. 36 won twice in the JAF GP Fuji Sprint Cup last weekend. It was a unique event to take place both of Formula Nippon and Super GT races together. on car No. 37 finished 2nd in race 1.

【Friday , 12 November 2010 - Qualifying】 Starting positions for the Race 1 was decided by the maximum speed of each driver at end of Fuji’s long straight. And for the Race 2 was by lap time in single car time attack system of qualifying. Lotterer and Oshima set 2nd, 3rd speed for the Race 1 and fastest for Pole, 10th for the Race 2 respectively.

【Saturday , 13 November 2010 - 1st Race】 In the Race 1, Lotterer made great start as usual to lead easily. The German driver build up a large gap at the beginning of the race while Oshima kept his starting position on lap one and he took over started from 6th spot on lap 2 to follow his team mate. TEAM TOM'S achieved 1-2 finish.

【Sunday , 14 November 2010 - 2nd Race】 In the Race 2, Lotterer led from Pole with a large gap again for another win and Oshima finished 8th.

Drivers: Andre Lotterer: “It was a fantastic week end with two wins. The team prepared a great car. I was not able to get championship title but I am very pleased to show our performance in this final event. These wins are promising for the next year.”

Kazuya Oshima: “I am happy to finish 2nd followed to Andre in the Race 1. My car was very good and I was able to make a solid race. Later this year, my car and myself improved a lot. I really look forward next year to make better races and results.”

Team Director: Nobuhide Tachi: “We won 4 times including the 2010 championship series races. We, PETRONAS TEAM TOM'S, achieved absolute maximum performance with cars and drivers. Andre drove perfect to win twice and Kazuya finished 2nd to make 1-2 finish in the Race 1, it was a fantastic result. I hope fans enjoyed this Sprint Cup races.”
