CALL TO WORSHIP

*SONGS OF WORSHIP & PRAISE Battle Belongs Brian Johnson | When all I see is the battle You see my victory When all I see is a mountain You see a mountain moved And as I walk through the shadow Your love surrounds me There’s nothing to fear now For I am safe with You

So when I fight I’ll fight on my knees With my hands lifted high O God the battle belongs to You And every fear I lay at Your feet I’ll sing through the night O God the battle belongs to You

And if You are for me Who can be against me For Jesus there’s nothing Impossible for You When all I see are the ashes You see the beauty When all I see is a cross God You see the empty tomb

(An) Almighty Fortress You go before us Nothing can stand against The power of our God You shine in the shadows You win every battle Nothing can stand against The power of our God

O God the battle belongs to You

Always Jason Ingram | Kristian Stanfill My foes are many They rise against me But I will hold my ground I will not fear the war I will not fear the storm My help is on the way My help is on the way

Oh my God He will not delay My refuge and strength always I will not fear His promise is true My God will come through always Always

Trouble surrounds me Chaos abounding My soul will rest in You I will not fear the war I will not fear the storm My help is on the way My help is on the way

I lift my eyes up My help comes from the Lord I lift my eyes up My help comes from the Lord (REPEAT)

Oh my God He will not delay My refuge and strength always always

WELCOMING OUR NEW COVENANT PARTNERS

*AFFIRMATION OF FAITH The Apostles’ Creed Do you believe in God the Father? I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.

Do you believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God? I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descend- ed to the dead. On the third day He rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and He will come to judge the living and the dead.

Do you believe in God the Holy Spirit? I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

IChildren who have completed 3K through 5K are invited to go with a worship caregiver to attend Children’s Church. If this is your child’s first visit to Children’s Church, we encourage you to walk with them. They will receive their own message in the preschool pod in the Education Building. Parents, please plan to pick up your children at the Tower entrance at the conclusion of today’s service.
