BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY 2003 -2014 Waltham, MA Director and Founder, Office of the Arts  Reported to the Provost; advised the President and Senior Administration on arts initiatives.  Centralized mission, communication, and institutional advancement for the arts, including the School of Creative Arts, the Rose Art Museum, 100 arts and culture clubs, and arts research programs.  Integrated the arts into the university, serving as arts advocate and liaison to communications, development, admissions, alumni relations, student life, and the senior administration.  Increased participation in arts curriculum and events; helped double concert revenue and attendance; and doubled the number of music and theater arts majors/minors.  Fostered effective communication, collaboration, strategic planning, and effective use of resources in the School of Creative Arts.  Raised over $1.2 million for arts departments and programs; Created and chair the Brandeis Arts Council, comprised of alumni and parents, which has generated more than $700,000 in funds for the arts departments.  Provided marketing and development strategies for more than 350 arts events annually with estimated attendance of 35,000  Created and serve as writer and editor-in chief of the 24-page magazine State of the Arts; 36,000 copies distributed bi-annually.  Supervised electronic communication for the arts; created and supervise 5,000 members email list, and implemented online arts calendar and standardization of arts websites; centralized campus box office activities and development of online ticketing.  Cultivated donors; prioritized needs and opportunities for contributed revenue.  Guided the university through the 2009-11 Rose Art Museum controversy, stabilizing the museum, and securing a new Director  Supervised and fundraised for the Festival of the Creative Arts; generated a 700% increase in attendance.
