5 Finance (No. 2) Bill: Second Reading Motion made and Question proposed, That the Finance (No. 2) Bill be now read a second time. Amendment moved, to leave out from ‘That’ to the end of the Question and add, ‘this House declines to give the Finance (No. 2) Bill a Second Reading because it derives from the 2017 Budget which confirmed the continuation of austerity, it fails to provide the necessary stimulus to compensate for the economic impact of , it fails to address the inequity of VAT being charged on the Scottish Police Authority and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, it fails to provide concrete measures to support the oil and gas industry, it increases Insurance Premium Tax above the level of inflation, it increases duty on Scotch whisky, and it is a wholly inadequate response to the economic challenges being faced by Scotland and the UK’.— (Stewart Hosie.) 13 Children and Social Work Bill [Lords] The Lords agree without amendment to the Amendments made by the Commons to the Children and Social Work Bill [Lords].

14 Health Service Medical Supplies (Costs) Bill The Lords do not insist on their amendment to the Health Service Medical Supplies (Costs) Bill to which the Commons have disagreed, but propose an amendment in lieu thereof, to which they desire the agreement of the Commons.

15 Digital Economy Bill The Lords have passed the Digital Economy Bill with amendments to which they desire the agreement of the Commons.

16 Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence (Ratification of Convention) Bill The Lords agree to the Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence (Ratification of Convention) Bill without amendment.
