• Metrolinx published the first regional transportation plan (RTP) for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) in 2008. Radio Communications Antenna Installation
The ECLRT requires a radio system to allow communication among Operator and Maintenance personnel, including dispatchers, mobile staff, and Revenue Vehicle drivers.

• Rebar & formwork ongoing for the TPSS, station box, and main, second, and third entrances. • Concrete pours ongoing. • Roofing construction and backfill will begin. This will last Spring for approximately one (1) year with various traffic 2019 stages. For the first stage, traffic will be pushed to the south half of Eglinton and east half of Keele, maintaining one (1) lane in each direction.
Summer • Concrete works continue.
Fall • Steel erection above street level will commence. Construction Staging – Upcoming April 2019
