Welcome to MacArthur Park Lutheran Church. We are happy you are worship- ing with us today!  Please feel free to ask an usher, greeter, or other worshiper if you need assistance.  Members and Guests: as soon as you are seated, please fill out an attend- ance card, found in the pew rack; drop these in the offering plate as a record of your presence with us.  Believing in the real presence of Christ, we welcome all baptized persons to the Lord's Supper. Those who don't commune are invited to come forward to receive a blessing.  If you are worshiping with us for the first time, do not feel obligated to give an offering. You are our guest today.  Guest information is available in the back of the church, from an usher, or from the .  Large print bulletins are available from the ushers.  Children’s bulletins and quiet bags are available in the back. Please return the quiet bags with the supplies at the end of the service.  A Quiet Room with a rocking chair is located in the back corner by the main entrance.  We welcome children in worship. However, a nursery for children 8 weeks to 3 years is available for the 10:45 am service, located on the first floor of the Education Building.  The water fountain and handicap accessible restrooms with infant changing tables are located in the robe room in the back of the church and in the Education Building.  If you would like to speak with the pastor or a staff member, please make a note of this on your attendance card. INVITATION TO COMMUNION Believing in the real presence of Christ, we welcome all baptized persons to share in the Lord's Supper. Those who are not baptized, and those who do not yet take communion, are welcome to come forward for a blessing. Please come up the center aisle to receive communion and return to your pew using the side aisle. You may take of the Eucharist either by (dipping the wafer into the wine or the juice) or by common cup (eating the wafer and drinking from the ceramic ). The common cup holds wine. The larger of the metal , for intinction, holds wine while the smaller ones hold grape juice. Gluten free wafers are available. As you come forward to receive the wafer, let the communion minister know. At the table of the Lord, God nourishes faith, forgives sin, and calls us to be witnesses to the Gospel. Come to the banquet!
