Russia A new apartment NOVA Alekseevskaya to be opened in Moscow

The opening of a new hotel NOVA Alekseevskaya at Staroalekseevskaya Street is expected in Moscow in the nearest time. The hotel with the total area of 18,000 sq. meters will include serviced apartments for short- and long-term stays and 155 rooms of different categories. The hotel infrastructure will also include a lobby bar, a restaurant, three conference rooms, a coworking space, a beauty salon and a parking. Fairmont & Vesper Residences will open in Moscow in 2021

The Fairmont & Vesper Residences project at 1-st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street is planned to be commissioned in 2021. The complex will consist of two connected buildings. The hotel under Fairmont brand of AccorHotels for 143 rooms will be situated in the first building, 43 serviced apartments will be placed in the second one. The serviced apartments will also be managed by AccorHotels under Fairmont brand. The infrastructure of the complex will also include a parking for 89 lots. A new hotel will open at Lomonosovsky district

The work is carried out by Sherwood Premier LLC and Blank Architects company. The first and the second floors are expected to be made of glazing panels. The infrastructure of the hotel will include a restaurant at the top floor, some conference areas and an underground parking. The hotel Astrus is put for sale

The hotel Astrus that is also known as Central Tourist House (Tsentralniy Dom Turista) is put for sale for RUB 7.5 bn (U$ 94 m). The hotel is a 35-storey building with the total area of 16,000 sq. meters. It comprises 488 rooms and includes restaurants, conference halls, fitness and SPA centers and a parking. A new hotel may be built near Vnukovo Airport

The land with the total area of 0.98 ha was auctioned in Moscow. The land is located near Vnukovo Airport at Karyernaya Street and approved for the hotel construction. The owner plans to build a three-star hotel in the nearest 3 years. Kravt Nevsky Hotel will open in St. Petersburg in 2020

The new hotel with the total area 8,500 sq. meters will be placed at Alexandra Nevskogo Street (Central District of St. Petersburg). The developer of the project is Kravt Invest LLC. The company’s portfolio also includes Kravt Hotel at Sadovaya Street and Albora Hotel at Naberezhnaya Kanala Griboyedova.

Apartment hotel VALO opened in St. Petersburg

VALO Hotel City is located near Bukharestskaya metro station. The complex will consist of 6 buildings. The first one for 750 serviced apartments opened at the beginning of March. The hotel infrastructure includes a lobby bar, some restaurants, a conference hall, a coworking space, a supermarket, a beauty salon , fitness and SPA centers and a parking. The hotel will also provide an access to its unique market-place. Valo Hotel City will comprise 3,655 rooms and service apartments. Congress opened in Krasnaya Polyana

The new hotel comprises 92 rooms with mountain view. It is planned to increase the number of rooms up to 194 units by the end of 2022. The hotel infrastructure includes two a la carte restaurants, a gym and a multifunctional conference hall that is suitable for MICE-events. Novotel Congress is conveniently situated near ski lifts and slopes. Pik Hotel is put up for sale again

Gazprom public company (Pik Hotel’s owner) put up its hotel for auction again. Pik Hotel is situated in Krasnaya Polyana, Sochi. The auction was held at the web-based Gazprombank platform in March, 25, 2020. The starting offer price comprised RUB 613 m (U$ 7.7 m), while the minimum offer price is RUB 407 m (U$ 5.1 m). RRG will redevelop Sady Morey in Gelendzhik

An upscale complex Sady Morey will be redeveloped. The strategy of redevelopment was worked out by RRG company. One of the buildings will probably be turned into an apartment hotel. Sady Morey is located near the sea and comprises 262 rooms. The hotel infrastructure also includes a swimming pool, a large park, private beach and some commercial premises. A robotic hotel will open in Kazan

A new hotel for 30 rooms will be located on the territory of Innopolis economic zone in Kazan. It is planned to build a hotel in two and a half years. This time will be spent not only on construction work, but also on testing artificial intelligence technologies and teaching robots. Investments are estimated at RUB 500 m (U$ 6.3 m) and Universal Robots company is expected to participate in this project. A new apartment hotel is planned to be built in Kaliningrad region

The new hotel with the total area of 5,000 sq. meters will be situated in Zelenogradsk at Pugachova street. The hotel will comprise 36 rooms. Its infrastructure will include a restaurant and commercial premises on the 1st floor. There are no comparable in that area. A new hotel opened in Arkhyz

Flora Boutique - Hotel&Spa was opened in the mountain resort Arkhyz that is located in Karachay-Cherkessia. A 3-storey building is conveniently located near the ski lift named Severnoye Siyaniye. The infrastructure of the complex includes a restaurant, a ski storage room and a parking. Swimming pools, a gym and a massage room are expected to be opened in the nearest time.

Orel Hotel will be put up for sale

The complex of two hotels (Orel and Rus) is owned by municipality. An auction will be held in April 10th with the starting offer price comprised RUB 1.1 bn (U$ 13.8 m). The complex includes a building of Orel hotel with the total area of 10,100 sq. meters and a building of Rus hotel with the total area of 4,900 sq. meters, also there is a land to be sold. Tourist hotel in Novosibirsk increased its height

Tourist hotel that is located at Marksa square in Novosibirsk is now in the process of reconstruction. The hotel will be turned into a multifunctional complex with the total area of 34,400 sq. meters, comprising serviced apartments, restaurants, a large conference hall with 1,000 persons capacity and retail shops. Georgia InterContinental Hotels Group will open two hotels in Batumi

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) will open two Crown Plaza hotels in Georgia. Batumi — Thermal Waters for 65 rooms is expected to be open by the end of 2021. Crowne Plaza Batumi — Mziuri Gardens is schedule for Spring 2023. The hotels will be managed by MRMU International. Uzbekistan Encore® by Wyndham makes its debut in Uzbekistan

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts expands its presence in Central Asia. In summer of 2021 the first hotel under Ramada Encore® by Wyndham brand will open its doors in Tashkent. A new hotel will be located at Tashkent city center. The hotel will have 102 rooms, two spacious conference rooms, restaurant and lobby bar. The design rationale for Ramada Encore lobby space is based around a concept of patio - a space to relax, refresh and connect. Companies’ and hotel operators’ news The first hotels of a new brand Janu will open in 2022

Vladislav Doronin who owns a premium hotels chain Aman is launching a new brand Janu. The first hotels will open in Japan, Montenegro and Saudi Arabia. It is expected that each hotel will comprise about 120 rooms. Prices in Janu hotels will be lower than in Aman hotels. This will be achieved due to the smaller number of staff per guest -in hotels under the Janu brand there will be 4 employees per guest. is launching a new brand Scandic Go

A Scandinavian chain Scandic Hotels is planning to launch a new low-cost brand Scandic Go. Four hotels are expected to be opened in Stockholm in 2020, and another one will open in Copenhagen in 2021. In accordance with the brand’s strategy,

Scandic will be situated in the city center, with a minimum of additional services offered to guests. Scandic Hotels chain now includes 280 hotels in 130 cities of Scandinavia, Germany and Poland.
