THREE DOG NIGHT COMING TO CHUMASH CASINO RESORT

SANTA YNEZ, CA – October 8, 2019 – , the classic rockers who

in their nearly five decades together have achieved some of the most astonishing

statistics in popular music, will bring their North American tour to the Chumash Casino

Resort’s Samala Showroom at 8 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2019. Tickets for the

show are $29, $39, $49, $54 & $59.

Throughout their careers, Three Dog Night produced a string of 21 consecutive

Top 40 hits on the pop charts, which included “Mama Told Me (Not to Come),” “Joy to

the World” and “Black and White” all becoming No. 1 hits.

The band formed in 1967 with vocalists , and Cory

Wells. They eventually hired backing musicians Ron Morgan (), Floyd Sneed

(drums), Joe Schermie (bass) and (keyboards). Morgan left the band early on and was replaced by .

They made their official debut in 1968 at the Whiskey a Go Go at a press party hosted by Dunhill Records. Their first , “Three Dog Night,” was a success with hit songs “One,” “” and “Nobody.” It helped the band gain recognition and become one of the top concert acts of their time.

Today, the band is made up of Danny Hutton (founder/lead vocalist), Michael

Allsup (guitar), Paul Kingery (bass/vocals), Paul Bautz (drums), Howard Laravea

(keyboards), and David Morgan (vocals). The group continues to maintain an aggressive, year-round touring schedule of more than 70 dates a year.

Despite the passing of founding members , Jimmy Greenspoon and

Joe Schermie, the Three Dog Night distinctive sound remains the same.
