Deputy Headteacher: School Improvement

Applications are invited for the post of Deputy Headteacher: School Improvement to join our central team.

Role purpose: The Deputy Headteacher (School Improvement) for the Prospere Learning Trust will be a member of the Trust’s Strategic School Improvement Team and will work alongside others in Trust schools to lead, develop and support the strategic direction, vision, values and priorities of the Trust.

The Deputy Headteacher (School Improvement) will be deployed directly into Trust schools to provide additional support to the existing school leadership. In the first instance, this will be a full-time deployment at Newall Green High School, to support the Trust’s drive to successfully remove the school from Special Measures.

The Deputy Headteacher (School Improvement) will be responsible for supporting the Headteacher with the leadership and management of the School and with all aspects of school improvement, raising the standards of teaching, learning and student achievement together with the standards of attendance, behaviour and appearance of all students.

The Deputy Headteacher (School Improvement) will play a key role in the development of the Trust School Improvement Strategy and help support the change processes across the Trust in line with this plan, leading in the design, development and implementation of systems, policies and procedures to ensure that School Improvement activities across the Trust are highly effective.

About Us: Prospere Learning Trust was formed in September 2017 through the merger of two multi academy trusts. The role will be based in one of our South Manchester schools, with an initial base of Newall Green High School.
