FIRST FRIDAY: Friday next is the First Friday in July. Mass times are as follows - Kilmaley 10.00am, Connolly 11.00am. Fr Pat will visit his Communion calls on Thursday afternoon. Mass and the Sacrament of Anointing will take place on Thursday 7th July at 11.00am in the Kilmaley Day Care Centre. All are welcome.

SYMPATHY: We offer our sympathy support and prayers to the family, relatives and friends of Ted Daly, Cork brother of Deirdre Neylon, Kilclogher and to the family, relatives and friends of Maureen Kitson (Nee Fitzpatrick) Marian Avenue, and late of Bushy Park sister of Séan Fitzpatrick, Bushy Park. Funeral Mass this Sunday, 26th June, at 1.30pm in Ennis Cathedral with burial afterwards in Templemaley Cemetery, .

WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES AND VISIT OF POPE FRANCIS: In the past week, Pope Francis confirmed the dates of the World Meeting of Families for Dublin from 22nd – 26th August 2018. Pope Francis indicated that he or his successor will attend. In anticipation of this second Papal visit to Ireland in 2018, a National Collection is taking place throughout the Country to help prepare and plan for this Papal visit. Sincere thanks to all who contributed to the collection last weekend. If anyone would still like to contribute envelopes are available in the church porches.

DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO THE SHRINE OF OUR LADY OF KNOCK: The annual Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock this year will take place on Sunday 3rd July, sharing with Ferns as we have in previous years. This year Killaloe diocese will lead the ceremonies. For the second year, the diocese in conjunction with Knock Youth Ministry, is trying to include as many young people as possible to add a “Youth Dimension” to the pilgrimage. FUNDRAISING EVENTS - HELP NEEDED: Tour De Munster cycle will take place from 4th to 7th August. Funds raised between these dates are vitally important to the Clare Branch to offer support to families with Down syndrome members throughout the county. Come and take part! The cycle and bucket shaking will be in Killaloe on Thursday the 4th, on Friday the 5th bucket shaking in Miltown Malbay, Ennis and . Cyclists will be coming through Ennis and Kilrush before heading to Kerry via the ferry in . Please come and show your support by cheering the cyclists on along the route or bucket shaking. COSÁN, A BILINGUAL SUMMER CAMP FOR 6TH CLASS CHILDREN runs at UL Sport Adventure Centre in Killaloe 11-15 July 2016.
