Take the Helderberg off ramp that reads ( R44 – Broadway Blvd – Stellenbosch), turning left onto the R44 in the direction of Stellenbosch. After the first traffic light (Lord Charles Hotel on your left) approximately 4-5 km, turn left into Winery Road (the sign also indicates Macassar / Firgrove). Approximately 600m along Winery Road turn right onto Raithby Road. The road will make a turn to the left and in the turn, turn right onto Raithby- Annandale Road. Follow the road for approximately 1km till you come to a white gate (sign indicates Lyngrove Wines & Guesthouse). If the gate are closed please phone reception on 021 – 8422 116 to open. Follow the road for approximately 1km till you get the Lyngrove Wines & Guesthouse entrance. From Cape Town on the N1, direction Paarl. After passing the 1-Stop petrol station, take the Stellenbosch (R304) off-ramp and turn right at the T-junction. Continue on this road into Stellenbosch. Turn right at the traffic light into Adam Tas (this becomes the R44), the Mercedes Benz dealership will be on your right. Continue straight on, thru Stellenbosch in the direction of the Strand. You will now be driving out of Stellenbosch direction Strand. After passing Eikendal (on your left) and the Cape Garden Centre (on your right), turn right into Winery Road (the sign also indicates Macassar / Firgrove). Approximately 600m along Winery Road turn right onto Raithby Road. The road will make a turn to the left and in the turn, turn right onto Raithby- Annandale Road.     DIRECTIONS FROM CAPE TOWN Take the N1 highway out of the city and then take the N7 highway in the direction of Malmesbury. Continue on the N7 for approx. 220km. Just after you start seeing the Clanwilliam Dam, look out for the off-ramp (to the left). At the T-junction you turn right to travel into the town of Clanwilliam. Stay on this road, passing two petrol stations on the left hand side. (Do NOT turn off to the right into the Main Road.) Stay on this road to travel out of the town in the direction of the mountain range. Approx 2km from the town (after a small hill), you turn left onto the road with a green signpost for Klawer. Look at your speedometer and note your kilometers. Approx 3.1 km on this road, you will see our gate & sign on the right hand side. Drive through our gate and up to the lodge. DIRECTIONS FROM THE WINELANDS There are a variety of routes depending on whether you are coming.If you are coming from Stellenbosch, take the R304 north. This road crosses over the main N2 highway and continues north to Malmesbury where the R304 merges with the R302 to continue as the R302. When you get to the town of Malmesbury, you follow signs for the N7 north towards Mooreesburg, PIketberg. Stay on the N7 for 158km and when you get to Clanwilliam, you follow the directions below…. If you are coming from Franschhoek or Paarl, travel to and through Paarl and then take the R44 north past Wellington.
