INVITATION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

You might be aware that the Ministry of Rural Development is implementing National Rural Livelihood Mission programme with an ambitious objective of Making free from all forms of poverty especially prevalent in rural areas. In nutshell, the programme basically put emphasis on Social Inclusion, Financial Inclusion, Economic Inclusion and promotion of Livelihood activities to bring rural population out of the vicious cycle of poverty. Further, developing skills of rural youths is imperative to enable them find employment opportunities in rapidly changing economy, and earn a meaningful source of income for livelihood. This is the reason why NRLM since its inception has been giving abundant importance to the skill development initiatives, And to support such initiatives, the District Administration has set up FOUR nos. Model State of the Art Training-cum-Production Centres at (1) Tangarpali Block Campus, (2) Patrapali Chowk near By-Pass of Sundargarh Town under Sadar block, (3) Karamdihi under Subdega block and (4) Bonai under Bonaigarh Block of Sundargarh district for the exclusive benefits of rural people seeking skill development training.

Accordingly, the District Administration is inviting Expression of Interest from the Project Implementing Agencies under DDU-GKY to take the above Training -curn- Production Centres on nominal charges as fixed by the District Administration, to provide Skilll Development Training Programmes in the above Centres. The detail terms & conditions are available in the District NIC Website-www.sundargarh.nic.in & ORMAS Website-www.ormas.org.

In nutshell, the programme basically put emphasis on Social Inclusion, Financial Inclusion, Economic Inclusion and promotion of Livelihood activities to bring rural population out of the vicious cycle of poverty.

Further, it is to mention here that developing skills of rural youths is imperative to enable

them find employment opportunities in rapidly changing economy, and earn a meaningful source of income for livelihood. This is the reason why NRLM since its inception has been giving abundant

importance to the skill development initiatives, And to support such initiatives, the District Administration has set up 4 nos. Model State of the Art Training-cum-Production Centres at Tangarpali Block Campus, at Patrapali Chowk , Sundargarh under Sadar block, at Karamdihi under

Subdega block and at Bonai under Bonaigarh Block of Sundargarh district for the exclusive benefits of rural candidates seeking skill development training.

In this regard, we are inviting Expression of Interest from your Organisation to take Skilll Development Training Programmes in the above Centres as per your suitability. (2)

Objectives

.:. The emphasis is to provide skill development training to the youths in such a way so that they get employment and to promote entrepreneurship .

•:. Provides training, support and guidance for traditional occupations like cobblers, welders, masons, nurses, tailors, weavers, mobile repairing, food processing etc .

•:. More emphasis will be given on new areas like real estate, construction, transportation, textile, gem industry, jewellery designing, banking, tourism and various other sectors, where skill development is inadequate or nil.

.:. The training programmes would be on the lines of international level so that the youths of our country can not only meet the domestic demands but also of other countries like the US, Japan, China, Germany, Russia and those in the West Asia.

•:. Tailor-made, need-based programmes would be initiated for specific age groups which can be like language and communication Skills, life and positive thinking skills, personality development skills, management skills, behavioural skills, including job and employability skills .

•:. The course methodology of 'Skill Development' would be innovative, which would include games, group discussions, brainstorming sessions, practical experiences, case studies etc.

Terms & Condition

.:. The PIAs must have Registered with the Panchayati Raj Deptt., Govt. of Odisha, or Ministry of Rural Development, Govt. of India, before applying for such Training Centres .

•:. Interested PIAs shall submit a Detailed Project Report (DPR) indicating trade details, organization structure, details of candidates, trainer ratio, Registration details, Copy of the MoU, Placement opportunities .

•:. Any PIA applying for any trade should have at least 5 years of experience in the same trade in terms mobilizing candidates, providing quality training, and placing successful candidates in reputed organizations/Companies

.:. Any damage created by the Organisation if noticed will be compensated by the concerned PIAs itself .

•:. The PIA shall enter into an agreement with the Project Director-cum- District Mission Coordinator, Odisha Livelihood Mission, DRDA, Sundargarh on hire based .

•:. The Organisation should not undertake any construction work without information .

•:. The training programme(s) to be organised by the PIAs must be Training-cum-Production OR Placement Linked Training.
