We drove in late the first night, spent three full days exploring and left early on the last day— so overall with drive time it was a 5-day trip for us. We stayed at fishing bridge campground because we have trailers. There are several nice campgrounds but they get booked quickly. Plan ahead and you will have a great trip!

DAY 1 -

 Pumice Point and Yellowstone Lake  West Thumb Basin  Continental Divide  Old Faithful (have lunch while waiting for Old Faithful to go off)  Black Sand Basin  Biscuit Basin (hike to the falls)

DAY 2 -

 Hayden Valley is a great place to spot wildlife.  Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone North Rim Drive  Grand View stop  Lookout Point stop  Inspiration Point stop  South Rim Drive  Artist Point  Canyon Village Visitor Center  Tower Fall & Calcite Springs (have lunch at the picnic area before walking to Tower Fall, then get ice cream in the gift shop)  Petrified Tree  Hike to Wraith Falls (1-mile roundtrip, easy)  Stop for a potty break at Lava Creek picnic area - and have fun playing in the river  Undine Falls  Mammoth Hot Springs  Obsidian Cliff viewpoint  Twin Lakes  Roaring Mountain  When you get back to camp you could take in a Ranger program or go star gazing.
