Launch of Club MSA Visa card

Especially for members of the fan club for female artist MISIA! One card works as fan club member ID and credit card

OMC Card Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, ; President and representative director: Hiromichi Funahashi) has teamed up with Rhythmedia Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director, Hiroto Tanigawa), operator of Club MSA, the official club for fans of the powerful female artist MISIA, to issue credit cards especially for members of the MISIA fan club – the new Club MSA Visa Card and Club MSA Visa Gold Card. Acceptance of applications began in April.

Club MSA, the official club for MISIA’s fans, now has about 50,000 members, who receive priority access to concert tickets as well as fan club information. The new cards will double as club membership identification as well as credit cards; the back will have the member’s photograph and fan club number, to identify the bearer at concert venues.

The Club MSA Visa card has many attractive features; in addition to various OMC card services, users receive birthday cards, and priority access to concert tickets (Gold card members receive the highest priority).

The new cards will help Rhythmedia receive fan club members’ payments of annual dues (¥4,500), and lighten its workload of administrative operations. In the past, OMC has worked with many entities in the entertainment sector to offer affinity cards, but the new MSA card is its first for club fans of a female artist. This could help the company expand its presence among young customers in their twenties and thirties. Card applications were mailed to all fan club members together with the regular club information sent in April. Applications are accepted at the official website as well as at the venues of various supporters’ club events. Details
